I love, love, love this simple garland that Sara has crocheted! It would be very sweet to hang above a crib when crocheted in colors themed for baby. It would also look great as a swag above a door in Spring colors. If you wanted to use up yarn scraps, especially in bright colors, it would be very festive draped over a window or on a banister. Such simple patterns can be used very effectively if the crocheter has the right ‘eye’. As usual, Sara (the ‘creativejewishmom’) has turned out a simple project that many of us can adapt for our own use! See Sara’s article here.

Dinosaur Beanie – Crochet Pattern
This Crochet Dinosaur Hat was a labor of love for Maria Weaber, who faced multiple design iterations to achieve the perfect balance of aesthetics and fit.
The goal was to craft a hat using just one skein of the Caron x Pantone yarn, making it both practical and visually appealing. Despite numerous attempts, the final result captures the essence of a dinosaur while ensuring a comfortable and relaxed fit.
Maria candidly shares the challenges encountered during the design process, emphasizing the importance of achieving the right balance between the desired look and the overall fit of the hat. The perseverance and dedication to creating an optimal design shine through, making this pattern not just a set of instructions but a tale of creative determination.
