Caron Shoulder Shrug

I saw this Shrug today.
What a pretty design! I love the color and wonder how it will look on a ‘full figured’ woman. I think I might try to adapt it by using a lighter weight yarn - not so bulky looking. Why is it that I am always drawn to the garments made with bulky yarn? My body is bulky enough, thank you!

Maybe someone can direct me to a ‘look alike’ that is made in lighter weight yarn so I don’t have to do the trial and error thing……
