If you don’t have any of these furry sweeties before you see this book, you’ll definitely need them once you see them!  These are some of the most adorable stuffed animals I’ve ever seen!  Hisako and Shizue Obawa, mother and daughter, are the authors and creators of this collection.  The charming dogs, cats, pigs, and, yes, even chicks, take us to a place where we are truly in touch with our inner child.  The unique proportions of the arms and legs make me want to hug them.

These are twenty amigurumi inspired creatures presented with very detailed charts.  The written patterns fall into the minimalist category.  There are patterns but you can rely on the charts for almost all of the information you need to complete these babies.  Even if you have not worked from charts before, you are likely to find success with these.

Did you happen to try any of the patterns? Can you post a few photos from inside the book? This cover looks fun, but this review is just too short to decide.

I know these are intended for children, but my Schnauzers would adore these toys!!! Cute!
