You know I love to take lowly, throwaways to make something cool, preferrably using crochet. Here are a few ideas I’ve run across recently. Hope you’ll like them.
Use a cereal box for the tag and crochet a tiny wreath from scrap yarn. These would make great hang tags for a craft show. Read more details here.
Another idea for a gift tag or an ornament – again, from the simplest of components. From the same site as the one above.
We have a gazillion plastic bags that we store to use over and over again. I’ve run out of place to store them. But, with this idea, I’m gonna make a couple more very soon. Every old sweater has two sleeves, right? Embellish with crochet as desired! Find out how to make your own right here.
For way more ideas than I can possibly show you here, you can check out all the fun pictures of such projects via the Trashionista. Don’t you just love that name!?

This design is steller! You definitely know how to
keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos,
I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!
) Excellent job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than
that, how you presented it. Too cool!
Thanks! jd
