Here’s another little ‘orphan’ pattern that needs to find its origin.  Do you know where I can find the pattern?  No idea how old this pattern might be, but I’m betting a reader out there in Computerland will be able to help me out.

I will add that I have a new book – title to be determine based upon the winner’s interest – to the first person who supplies the pattern source for me.  One entry per person.  PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR ZIP CODE for verification.

Enter by posting your name, zipcode, and the source/origin of this crochet pattern in the Comment Section below.

So, this has turned into a Giveaway and will run from today through midnight, June 15, 2014 (CDT).  Have fun!

That is adorable. i’ve never seen a bunny like this. If you find out the origin and perhaps get the actual pattern, I hope you will provide a link to the pattern as I would love to have it.

It was in a needlework magazine back in the 1980s. I remember because a friend of mine used to make them for my mother’s craft booth back then. It was a spring issue, with lots of different needlecraft (not just crochet), and I can see the picture…. It was hard to notice on the page because there were so many items. Maybe the magazine that was a strange shape, square not rectangular? Needlecraft for Today?

It’s an old, old Mary Maxim pattern called Crochet Bunnies, Kit #19513. I searched that site but could not find it so it may be out of print. I have the 3-page pattern.

Can you scan the picture from the kit and send it to me? That would be really helpful.
