Here’s another collection of what I think are great gifting ideas in crochet. I want to support those creative souls who design these beauties and offer them to the rest of us.
For your own table or as a hostess gift, these work up quickly and are cheery and cute. Get the pattern here .
Okay. This is not crocheted – BUT…. one of the best gifts my mother ever made for any of my brothers was the year she made them log carriers. She sewed the ones she made. BUT… why not crochet one? It would not be difficult and I don’t think you’d even need a pattern. Very much like a sturdy tote – only open-sided. If the guy you need a gift for has a fireplace, this is what he needs, right? However, should you decide to buy him one instead of making it, feel free to order this one for $225.00.
These are really cute Christmas gift bags. I go through these really fast – I mean using them. I need to make a bunch. Pattern here .
These little stars can be used for a multitude of things. Package toppers. Appliques. Earrings. Garlands. Ornaments. I just love them! Don’t limit yourself to the colorway shown here. Use some sparkly yarn or thread and a cute brass button. Crochet them with black thread and glue a couple Swarovski crystals in the middle. Use packing twine and shirt buttons for a homespun look. Work them up in chunky yarn, spray with glue and glitter, and hang on the tree. Can I stop now or do you want me to keep going? I bet you get the idea. Make lots. Get the pattern here .
Absolutely EVERYONE will want one of these! Too cute! Get the pattern here .
After all this crocheting, you need to make something for yourself. So, crochet this little number, draw a bubble bath, light a couple candles, and soak yourself nicely. You’re worth it – or you know someone who is!
Whatever you do, whatever you make, every stitch will be filled with love and you’ll make the most special of all gifts – those made with love.
