SCARF ME!

Here are a few more outstanding scarf patterns I’ve run across since the idea of using thread to crochet a scarf first intrigued me.  Some free, some not.

This is an inexpensive pattern available online at the link below.  It’s a great way to learn the technique called Delta Crochet.

Even simpler, perhaps, is this freebie from Bernat.  Get the pattern here .

Bernat Three Row Scarf (Alpaca - or not)

How about this light and breezy scarf?  It would work well crocheted in thread or yarn up to worsted weight.  I like how open it is.  In thread, it’d be perfect for a summer accent.  Get the pattern here .

Finally, here’s a super simple design that could be made plain or fancy based on your choice of yarns.

Mesh Summer Scarf

So, now’s the time to pull out some spectacular thread, maybe combine two strands to make it even more interesting, and crochet yourself a wonderful scarf.  Make it for yourself or make one for a gift.  Have fun with it!

Beautiful samples of summer scarves. The first one you pictured above in white is my personal favorite. So many possibilities. Thank you for sharing.
