Were you at the St. Louis Cardinals’ Stitch n Pitch? And, what do you know about St. Louis after all?? Just the above…..

Did you know that 850 needleartists attended this game??

What do crochet and baseball have to do with each other? According to the Cardinals and the TNNA - the national sponsor for the event - these are two American traditions. I guess they’re right. My problem would be the beer that often goes along with the baseball game, especially when it’s about 100F out like it was last Monday!

We got GREAT goodie bags, met all the shop owners in the area, got to demo crochet - amidst the knit and cross stitch. We were in a party room, open air, but we had ceiling fans to cool us a bit.

And, the Cards WON!! My daughter, who cares about these things - and not about crochet - humored me by accompanying me to the game. It was fun to see so many needleartists there. If you get the chance, go to one of these things. You’ll enjoy it!!
