TREASURE BAGS

I think that treasure bags make great gifts, quick and well suited to all ages and genders.  If you pick the right pattern (free) and the right colors, you can create a nifty little project in no time.  Great for using up scraps too.

Try out some of these.

This bag is created with an interesting stitch.  If it’s intended for a toddler, I’d omit the hardware.  Color choice could make this a great gift choice for holidays, birthdays, etc.

Here’s a tiny one, suitable for holding chips, change, and other little treasures.

Or, you can go with a vintage look:

Prissy, beaded, feminine, tailored.  Here are several:

Tarot cards?  Not necessarily.  It’d hold a variety of goodies.  Simple but effective.

And, finally, a nicely tailored Carol Ventura bag.  Great, simple design.  Color choices would mean everything.

These are great little bags! I’m crocheting gifts now for a Christmas Boutique I participate in every year and I think these would be an awesome addition!
