  6. Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, increase in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (50 stitches total).
  7. Single crochet in the next 4 stitches, increase in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (60 stitches total).
  8. Single crochet in the next 5 stitches, increase in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (70 stitches total).
  9. Single crochet in each stitch around for the next 5 rounds (70 stitches total).
  10. Single crochet in the next 5 stitches, decrease in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (60 stitches total).
  11. Single crochet in the next 4 stitches, decrease in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (50 stitches total).
  12. Single crochet in the next 3 stitches, decrease in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (40 stitches total).
  13. Single crochet in the next 2 stitches, decrease in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (30 stitches total).
  14. Single crochet in the next stitch, decrease in the next stitch. Repeat from * to * around (20 stitches total).
  15. Decrease in each stitch around (10 stitches total).
  16. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
