21 Ways To Crochet Christmas Stars

November 20, by Shellie Wilson. Leave a Comment

This article is all about stars, not as many as the eye can see in the sky, but certainly a lot, 21 different ways to make Crochet stars in fact. Each star pattern has been hand-selected for this crochet roundup. I have chosen these stars are I believe they are all suitable for a Christmas star-themed project. Most of the stars are variations of flat star patterns for hanging in Christmas trees or for placing on gifts or even inside a handmade card. The best thing about stars, they use up scraps of yarn!

I have included some dimensional ones and Amigurumi stars too as they were just too cute to leave out of this crochet pattern list.  Basic flat crochet stars can also be used as embellishments and or appliques onto other bigger crochet projects such as afghans or beanies.

If you are looking for more Star patterns, perhaps pillows or blankets? then check out these star crochet patterns we found on Etsy.

Evermore Blanket Crochet Pattern

Hello and welcome to the Filet Heart Afghan crochet pattern! If you’re anything like me, you’re probably either obsessed with bobble stitch or hearts right now, because that seems to be all I can talk about or blog about. Well, this crochet blanket pattern is the perfect combination of both – it features a beautiful filet heart design that is sure to capture your heart (pun intended).

This pattern includes written directions in U.S. terms, a crochet symbol chart, and a colored diagram to help you along the way. It’s made using a size J hook and worsted-weight yarn, and the best part is that you can make it in any size you like.

Designed by Adrienne Bingham, this crochet blanket is the perfect way to show off your love of hearts and bobble stitch. So why wait? Get your hooks and yarn ready, and let’s get started on this beautiful project!

The Filet Heart Afghan crochet pattern would make a lovely gender-neutral baby blanket if made in pastel colors. Pastel shades such as pale pink, light blue, soft yellow, and mint green are often associated with baby gear and can be a great choice for a gender-neutral blanket.

Using a pastel color palette for this crochet blanket will give it a soft and gentle look that is perfect for a new baby. The filet heart design is also a sweet and subtle touch that will add some warmth and charm to the blanket.

Making this crochet blanket in pastel colors is a great way to create a gender-neutral baby blanket that is both stylish and cozy. It’s sure to be a treasured item for the new arrival and their parents. So go ahead and get started on this wonderful crochet project for the new bundle of joy in your life!
