Portia created this unique ‘statement’ necklace using some links of metal chain and simple crochet stitches. Isn’t it cool? I can think of a number of ways to use this technique to embellish my crochet. I think the statement necklace would be very interesting composed of graduated lengths of chain to create a V shape. I also think this design would be a cool addition to a tote bag, like an applique. Same for a jacket lapel, only smaller. A brooch can be made instead of the necklace shown. Any way you can think to use the idea, Portia has given us this free pattern and a very helpful picture tutorial so we can each create our own unique piece.
