I ran across this video review recently. Youtube.com is great for tutorials. I thought that was what I would be viewing. Turns out, it was a review. The nifty thing is that the reviewer is shown using the product, so one gets a really clear idea of the benefits (or not) of the product.
For the product:

In this case, the reviewer doesn’t like the product, but he does issue a disclaimer of sorts. Since the product is designed, it seems, for knitting and the reviewer is crocheting, it might work better for a knitter. Hmmm…
What do you think?

I bought one of these and found it completely useless as well. The biggest problem, it that IT DOES NOT FIT MY FINGERS! None of them. It’s too big on my friggin THUMB. So it just spins around on my finger and the yarn is all over the place. Worthless waste of money.

I always thought that though this is a great idea, I couldn’t imagine that the tension would be correct. Maybe the wire ones would work better, if you can kind of mold it to create your preferred tension.
Love the review format!

I’m so glad you posted this, not even so much for the product but the fact that it led to the guy who did the review. He’s fabulous at crochet tutorials!!!! I’ve added him as a fave on youtube and will go to him for any issues, since he covers like EVERYTHING!!! :]
