If you liked Blueprint Crochet by Robyn Chachula, you’ll adore this book devoted to designs for baby. Well, that’s a bit of a misnomer. There are designs for babies and toddlers. There are 19 designs, and, as the subtitle states, these are ‘irresistible projects for little ones’. Simply irresistible!
There are 19 designs included, most of which are wearables. The cover sweater, the Stella Jacket, is the perfect cover up for many toddlers. But, there are cute designs for little boys here too. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at tapestry crochet, but were afraid to take on a whole project, you might like the boys’ Hunter Pullover which has an inset band of charted work. The Hank vest is one I’d love to see in adult sizes too, so that Dad and Son could wear matching vests.
As with her other books, Chachula pays special attention to detail in her patterns and finishing. There’s plenty of help in this book to get you through each project. Beginners and more experienced crocheters will benefit equally from the details Chachula includes.
