Crochet this knit look with the waistcoat stitch.
Intermediate Level. Experience in reading a graph, the waistcoat stitch, carrying yarn, and color changing is highly recommended for making this pattern.
I have added videos of these techniques to my Facebook page, “Jennifer’s Stitched Up.” You can find these videos in the video section.
This St Patricks day beanie pattern is written with a graph to follow. you will repeat the graph 3 additional times to complete each round.
The size options are a hook size change only.
Check the gauge. I have tight tension and make this hat with a K hook and it fits nicely. The waistcoat and carrying yarn makes a snug hat and I like hats a bit loose.
You can use any worsted weight yarn (4 medium)
You will need 4 different colors for this pattern, you will use less than a skein each color and can make a few hats.
