100 Micro Crochet Motifs: Patterns and charts for tiny crochet creations

December 10, 2021 by Shellie Wilson

Explore the world of micro crochet with this collection of crochet patterns and charts for 100 exquisite crochet motifs.  If you are into micro then this is a must have crochet book for your collection. Personally I struggle with Micro crochet as my fingers get stiff and my eyes are not as good as they should be.   I have been looking for Micro Flower patterns.

Whether you’re drawn to the challenge of creating miniature masterpieces or simply captivated by the beauty of tiny stitches, this book promises endless inspiration and creative possibilities. So, dust off your crochet hooks, thread your needles, and prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey into the enchanting world of micro crochet.

Girls Crochet Handbags – A Sweet Little Crochet Bag Pattern With Vintage Charm

This is a cute, no-fuss crochet bag pattern that feels very handmade in the nicest possible way. The Girls Crochet Handbags project on CraftBits uses Lily Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn, a 5 mm hook, and simple single crochet rows to create an easy tote-style bag, finished with straps and little crochet flowers for extra detail.

What I like about this one is that it is simple enough to play around with. The pattern suggests changing colours to make stripes or edging, so it would be easy to match it to a child’s outfit or just use up those leftover cotton yarn bits we all keep pretending are “too useful to throw away.” The sample bag is worked to around 50 rows, so you can also tweak the size a little if needed.

It definitely has that older-style craft pattern feel, which can be charming, but it also means you may need to read through the instructions carefully before starting. Even one of the comments mentions the wording being a little confusing, so I would say this is best for crocheters who are comfortable filling in the occasional gap rather than absolute beginners wanting lots of hand-holding.
