I recently embarked on a crochet journey with the Circle of Leaves Afghan pattern, and while I haven’t completed it yet due to some unexpected family health issues, I wanted to share my initial thoughts and impressions of this pattern.

For this project, I chose Jiffy® Bonus Bundle Yarn in the Coastal, Seafoam, and Eggplant shades. The yarn’s softness and plushness make it a joy to work with, and it adds a cozy element to the afghan. Although this yarn is on the pricier side, I believe it’s worth the investment, especially considering the quality and comfort it brings to the project.

Pattern Clarity and Corrections: ?????

Navigating the Circle of Leaves Afghan pattern has been a straightforward and enjoyable experience. The instructions are well-organized and easy to follow, and I haven’t encountered any reported pattern corrections. This reliability has been reassuring during a time when my attention has been divided.

Size and Progress:

While I’m not quite finished with the afghan, I’ve made significant progress. The afghan is designed to be about 60 inches (152.5 cm) in size, which is perfect for adding warmth and style to a living space. The leaf motifs are satisfying to crochet and create a captivating texture that adds depth to the piece.

In conclusion, my experience with the Circle of Leaves Afghan pattern has been a positive one, even though it’s taking me a bit longer to complete due to unforeseen family health issues.
