It’s really hard, IMO, to find cute, easy patterns to make for young boys. Of course, there are always the camouflage caps, mittens, and afghans – but what after that? I ran across this tool belt a mom made for her son who is always playing with tools. His dad is a carpenter.
To be fair, this pattern would work well for a girl too – maybe to hold crayons or dolly stuff. Might work just as well for an adult to carry cleaning supplies or other things around. But, I love the idea that she has designed something special for a boy!

Thank you for this pattern! I made one for my 5 year old and a slightly smaller one for my 2 year old son. They love them and are so glad I can make something better than hats or mittens for them!
