A new crochet book found on the library or bookstore shelf is always welcome! This one proved to be a disappointment. It’s got a catchy title and great photography, but I must say that I did not find one original or unique design in the entire book.
If you’re a rank beginner and have no other crochet books in your stash, this might be a place to start. But, for anyone beyond the beginner level and anyone with a few other crochet books and magazines will likely be uninspired by the collection found in this book.
I am not familiar with the work of the author. However, other books have appeared that brought a wonderful new (at least to me) designer into my crochet life. I’m always on the look-out for new crochet inspiration. I didn’t find much here, sadly. Lucky for me, I checked this book out at the library rather than purchasing it from an online source.
