A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, specifically in Vajrayana Buddhism, representing the universe. However, it has become a generic term for any round repeating diagram. The mandala is widely known as a meditative symbol that reveals a connectedness to nature and your soul. Have you ever tried drawing one? they really are calming and peaceful not only to look at but in making too. It promotes mindfulness, probably by its repetitive pattern. We all know we need more mindfulness in this busy crazy world. The word mandala is a Sanskrit term that means “circle”.
