Crochet Pattern – Slouchy Slipper Boots

May 13, by Shellie Wilson. Leave a Comment

I came across this pattern when looking for 80’s designs for my tween who is currently into everything vintage style. It reminded me of the old exercise style leggings we used to wear. In fact, I recall getting a whole set with leggings, headband and wrist bands with a cassette tape. This slouchy style is very fashionable right now and the teenagers are going to love them.

This crochet slipper boot pattern is suitable for anyone who has mastered basic crochet stitches and techniques and knows how to follow a pattern.

The US sizes this pattern makes are women’s Small (5-6) Medium (7-8) and Large (9-10). Euro sizes 35-41, UK women’s sizes 3-8.    You can grab this pattern over on Etsy.

Crochet slippers are the ultimate comfort for your feet, they keep your feet warm and add padding to the underfoot of your sole.

Crochet slippers make wonderful gifts as generally they fit several sizes. Slippers are great for donating to charities, as crochet slippers can be handed out to hospitals, aged care facilities, and displaced children.

Did you know the first recorded history of slippers can be traced all the way back to the 12th century?  The Vietnamese had been wearing slippers long before the folks in the West, with its earliest record of a slipper only being traced to 1478.

We also found these great crochet books on slipper patterns to crochet.
