These baby booties are all adorable but I have to say the Frog one is my favourite with its big eyes. These fun slipper booties make wonderful handmade gifts for newborns. Instructions:

  1. Start by chaining 18 stitches.
  2. Turn and work 1 sc in the second chain from the hook and in each chain across. (17 sc)
  3. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch across for the next 6 rows.
  4. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 dc in each stitch across for the next 2 rows.
  5. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch across for the next 2 rows.
  6. Chain 1 and turn, and work 1 sc in the next 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, work 1 sc in the next 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, and work 1 sc in the last 3 stitches.
  7. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch and chain space across.
  8. Chain 1 and turn, and work 1 sc in the first 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, work 1 sc in the next 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, and work 1 sc in the last 3 stitches.
  9. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch and chain space across.
  10. Chain 1 and turn, and work 1 sc in the first 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, work 1 sc in the next 3 stitches, then chain 2 and skip the next 2 stitches, and work 1 sc in the last 3 stitches.
  11. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch and chain space across.
  12. Chain 1 and turn, work 1 sc in each stitch across for the next 2 rows.
  13. Fasten off and weave in the ends.
