This book was given to me by my sister in law during my recent trip to India. It’s a UK publication, so take careful note of the stitch names. The book is a nice introduction to using beads in your crochet. There are 30 patterns in addition to good resources at the beginning of the book regarding materials, stitch combinations and beads.
I haven’t yet used a pattern in this book to crochet anything, but there are several designs that are especially appealing to me. I had never thought to add beads to a mesh market bag. Looks like a good idea when displayed in this book.
Another project that appeals is the earflap hat with irregularly sized beads sprinkled around the edging. I think anyone from college age on down would really like this idea. I’m a bit older than that and I think I’ll make one for myself.
At amazon.com, you can look inside this book. The earflap hat is on page 69. Check it out!
