Here are a few other easy, quick ideas for mom.
Is your mom always cold like mine is? Why not get her a simple sweatshirt in her favorite color and crochet her a flower that you sew or glue on? You can even just use a small safety pin to affix it from the inside of the shirt. That way, she can move the pretty flower to any shirt she desires. I love this flower for a sweatshirt:
Going with the flower theme, how about decorating a simple terra cotta pot that contains a pretty plant? You can do it like this:
