On All Free Crochet, they call this the World’s Fastest Crochet Afghan! Really? I don’t think so. Okay, I’m not a fan of mile a minute patterns. Not only must I crochet 2 things that are just alike, I have to crochet even more. In this case, it’s TWELVE things that are just the same. Not happening.
I can think of several different patterns that I could work up in far less time than I’d ever get this one made. I’m not saying this afghan is not attractive. It is – although I’d probably choose other colors. If you like mile a minute patterns, this might be for you. But, I believe I can crochet a diagonal crazy stitch in less time. I think I could work a simple double crochet with 2 or 3 strands of yarn and have a full sized afghan in a weekend.

I don’t like the mile a minute either. The worst row is that first one, and mile a minute has many first rows. I also dislike joining them together.
