t is made using US size 10 bedspread weight cotton thread, size 4 worsted and 2 sport weight yarns, and a collection of small crochet hooks.

The pattern includes step-by-step instructions and the finished design measures approximately 12″ tall. It was originally published in the October 1995 issue of Leisure Arts The Magazine.

Father Christmas and Santa Claus are often used interchangeably, but Father Christmas is a traditional name for the figure now known as Santa Claus in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe.
