Hindu tradition offers that Ganesha is a god of wisdom, success and good luck. I think we could all do with a little more of those.
You can grab the free Crochet Ganesha pattern here by downloading the free crochet pattern as a PDF.

The original website has been removed but we were able to find the original pattern for this Ganesha If you are able to locate the original designer we would love for her to update this file so please let us know.
The pattern has a plain colored Ganesh who has not yet been embellished. You can use the photo above as a guide for decorating your Ganesha.
We have also found this Youtube Video for anyone who requires guidance. (it is not in English)

Yet another offensive post. The gods of religions other than yours are not “good luck charms” for you to appropriate, nor to use for decoration.

I’m Hindu. I’m not offended. I’m more than happy for Ganesh to decorate anyone’s house and spread his wisdom. Hopefully he could live in your house and spread some wisdom there, because no one should be this easily offended. And I think that any Hindu offended by this, needs to study Hinduism some more, because they’ve clearly missed some of the core philosophical ideas that make up this religion.
