Everywhere, I still see ponchos. I never cease to be amazed at the creativity of crocheters everywhere. Check out these interesting photos and links.
They are in no particular order, but I have a few comments here and there.
This is one of my favorites. I love making the spider stitch motif. I could make this without a pattern, but I certainly admire Sutty’s work. It’s a beauty!

Here’s a “what’s it” which is quite creative:
that makes into this (and some other things. Check the site.)
Here’s one made with really pretty yarn:

Here’s one unlike any I’ve seen – and it’s SOOOO pretty:

And, a particularly pretty one designed for the ‘fluffy’ crocheter:
I ALWAYS love the patterns from garnstudios. This one is so elegant:

This poncho is designed for warmth. It would be very snuggly to wear when settled on the sofa for an evening of crochet or reading or even tv viewing (while we’re crocheting, of course!):

Would you give me the dimensions of your ‘what’s it?’ I don’t knit, but I think I could crochet one, but it would help if I had the size of the finished garment to be able to get the correct sizing. My daughters in law would each love one of these I think.
