My first thoughts are How is this going to actually stay together? I am not sure that It would. I have crafted with Paper doilys before and they are so fragile. What do you think, Would this work? Have you tried it ? Paper Doily Crochet.

I haven’t tried it but it’s not something I would do. I’d hate to spend time crocheting and have the doily rip. It’s a unique idea but it’s not for me.
