Have you seen this side of the 2012 Olympics?

 

 

Many of us have been glued to the TV, watching mostly youngsters from all over the world compete in the planet’s favorite sporting event.  Gold, silver, and bronze metals abound.  The US is certainly garnering its fair share of medals.  It seems the London is being very welcoming to the Olympians.  Probably not much crocheting going on in the bleachers or in the Village.  But, there is at least one Brit who has been working hard and long on a crochet piece for the Olympics.  And, it’s an impressive piece!  I admire the design, the quality of the stitchery, and the message – bravery, courage Lion-hearted – which seems to fit so many of the Olympians.
