Crochet Scarf Pattern – Is Your Grandmother Chunky?

I really like the look of this Chunky Granny Scarf.  This one will work up quickly!  I don’t usually make things using chunky/bulky yarn, but this one will get made.  I also am not sure why it’s called Granny as it looks quite young and fresh to me – and is not made of granny squares.  But, they didn’t ask me before they named it!

At any rate, the free pattern comes with a fine tutorial that will make crocheting this one very easy.  The terminology is written in both US and UK terminology.  The RoyalSisters score again!  Dig out your chunky yarn and make one for yourself.

NOTE:  Without the flower, I had this scarf completed in about an hour!  I made it using Bernat Satin yarn which is a ‘heavy’ worsted weight with an H hook.  Works up so quickly that it will make a fantastic last minute project.
