These look like tiny peppermint Christmas trees to me. They are an inspiring offering with the free pattern available here.
I didn’t find this treasure on my own. Peng of bullionstitchesandmore sent me the link to her version of these charming little beauties and enticed me with her own interpretations. You can see more of Peng’s mini trees here.
One thing I like about the pattern is the way it can be customized. The original is shown with and without beads. I’d be inclined to find some tiny charms to imitate ornaments – maybe Swarovski crystals of which I’m very partial.
I’d hang these on a tree, from the string of my ceiling fan, tie them to the tops of packages, and maybe even lace one onto a ribbon and wear it as a necklace. There is no one who will not be charmed by these!
