Here’s the next project I want to make. It’ll have to be fitted between baby and wedding afghans, but I just fell in love with it when I saw it. There are several great free sweater patterns at this site.
Since I’m sick of winter and cold weather, I went surfing for some new ideas for Spring crochet. Wouldn’t this make a great light sweater? Just gotta find the right yarn for it.

That is such a beautiful sweater I think I’m going to add it to my list as well. I love that it looks elegant yet casual at the same time. You could pair it up with dress pants or jeans. I’ve never made anything like this before but in looking over the pattern it sounds like something that would be a good first time project. Like you now to choose the yarn. How about helping a newbie with some suggestions for yarn.

Ah, JD, that is a beautiful sweater. I downloaded the pattern myself and will probably make it too! A nice sport-weight yarn would be perfect for spring.

I wanted to make this sweater for my sister. But when I tried to download the instructions, I was cautioned by my computer security this is a known bad file.

The incident was using the download button. I used the http address above and it was fine.
