It all started with a simple post on my local community Facebook page. I had stumbled upon a yarn store that was closing its doors, and the owner was looking to clear out all of his inventory.
. Other crafters in the community rallied around the cause, and they organized a group buy of the remaining yarn. Within a week, they had sold out of all the yarn in the store, and the owner was able to use the proceeds to help care for his sister.
The yarn store owner was deeply touched by the outpouring of support and thanked the community for their kindness and generosity. It was a small act of kindness that brought so much joy to the owner and his sister. The story was shared on other local community pages and even in a local newspaper, and it inspired others to also be more supportive of their local small businesses and communities.
