I have yet to get my hands on this book – but, boy, doesn’t it look exciting??
Myra Wood’s website has some more pix of patterns from this book. Check that out at www.myrawood.com
The look is very romantic and sensual. The choice of colors is rich and alluring. I’ve got to find this book so I can get a better sense of the quality of the patterns and the designer’s emphasis. This looks like an exciting combination of traditional shaping with freeform techniques. I love freeform!
I’ll post more on this book if/when I get to hold it in my hands.

p.s. You have a very good template for your blog. Where have you got it from?

I have this book and it is a definite keeper! Myra shows the reader how to make different types of freeform lace primarily using only one type of yarn. There is a review of it in the April 2008 issue of Crochet Insider if you’re interested in looking at it. http://www.crochetinsider.com/newbooks5.html

Wow! This post was long enough ago that I’ve completely forgotten what, if anything, I worked from the book. Sheesh! Bad memory.
