I think it’s time we revisited the subject of ribbon necklaces. There are still a lot of nice ‘ladder’ type yarns available, but few really great patterns for them. Then, I found some more ribbon necklaces and a whole new realm of possibilities for such yarns. The first example here is from a site that has a bunch of different necklace patterns for free.

This pretty and colorful necklace is from a free pattern also. Easy to work up quickly and a great way to use up an odd skein of ladder or trellis yarn. If you can make a crochet chain, you can make this necklace.

And, a quick check at this site will reveal all you need to know to crochet with this yarn. It’s not rocket science, but it can be a bit tricky with some of the yarns if the open spots in them are very long. But, give it a try. In no time, you’ll be crocheting with this yarn like a pro!
