What do you think of this project light? One nice feature of it is the magnification. You can purchase one without the magnifiers – but you WILL ultimately need some help with your sight. I promise! Depending on the work you do, you may well be able to use the magnification and the extra light right now.

I think this gadget would be far more useful than the lighted crochet hooks. But – and it’s a pretty large BUT for me – I hate having things hanging around my neck. Would have to use it for a bit before I’d buy it. But, at under $30, it looks like a good idea.

I, too, hate things hanging around my neck. I wonder how heavy it is.

Hmmm, not sure cause I tend to knit while sitting and/or semi laying in bed. Does look sort of awkward doesn’t it?
Looks as if the woman in the pic has fallen asleep – eyes look closed.

If you are looking for something for extra light, try a headlamp (Outdoor Rec Stores). I live in Congo and the power goes out regularly while I am crocheting…I pop on my headlamp and am good to go. Much easier than having something hanging around your neck!

I tend to slouch too much in the recliner, I don’t think it would leave much room for my puppy and my crocheting.

Checking in on everyone and leaving a note as I go. I don’t think it would work for me.

I have trouble with hanging magnifiers, so the lamp wouldn’t work for me either. I can see needing to read my pattern and not being able to focus my eyes throught the light to read the print. And see the stiches.
