Snowy Snow Themed Crochet Patterns

September 26, 2014 by jd wolfe

cro snoman scarf 0914

Just how many snowmen does it take to keep you warm?  As many as you can crochet into this cute scarf.  BTW who says all snowmen must be white?  You could make some in other colors  to use up some scraps and to create interest.  Maybe sprinkle some glittery yarn here and there in your scarf.  Certainly, you can crochet those earmuffs in any color you want.  Refer to the link below for the free pattern.

cro poinsettia scarf 0914

I love the antique look of this pretty scarf.  It would be a snap to make as a gift.  I like the poinsettia theme, but you could substitute any square of the proper size to suit your self.  Maybe you have a friend who loves butterflies.  Voila!  A butterfly square will turn this into the perfect scarf for her.  Maybe you want a green scarf with the poinsettias.  In that case, crochet the square as indicated, using the red, but substitute white for green in the square and use the green to work up the scarf.  What do you think?

cro xmas tree scarf 0914

What says Christmas more than a scarf of Christmas trees?  Make them as bright as you like.  These will be a hit for anyone age 3 to 103.  You can’t say that about many patterns.  You might want to make it a tad bit smaller for the 3 year old.  Other than that, this simple pattern packs a lot of punch and will be a hit!
