No, I know you don’t have time to crochet an entire afghan today, but I wanted to be sure to share this lovely Shamrock edging pattern with you. Tia has created this delicate edging and I think it would look great on an afghan or scarf for any time of the year, especially if you’re half Irish like I am. This is not my favorite ‘holiday’ but it is widely celebrated, especially in a town like St. Louis, Missouri with such a huge population that claims Irish heritage.
So, while you probably have plenty of other enticing things to do today, you can admire this and make a plan for including it in a future project. I’d like to see a pretty variegated afghan or scarf worked up then a solid color used to edge it with Tia’s pattern. Tia’s pattern is clearly written but you can assist yourself by clicking on the photo at her site as it will blow up to a full screen size so you can see all the detail. So pretty! This definitely goes on my WIM list.
