Aren’t these charming? Sher over at Fly The Coop has created these sweet, teeny tea light cozies. As usual, you’ll find her instructions and tutorial to be very helpful. This is one of those crazy little things that make me wonder why I didn’t come up with the idea myself! I also love her pastel palette, but you can use any colors you like, of course. They’d be bright and colorful worked up in red, white, and blue for July 4th or smartly sophisticated if crocheted in metallic thread or yarn.
While you’re at Sher’s blog, check out her sweet new flower patterns, complete with tutorial. Again, her palette is soft and warm, making them perfect for Spring. Crochet a bunch and sew onto a sweater or poncho or join them together to make a Spring scarf. Use up your scraps of cotton or acrylic yarn and work up a bunch of these in no time. You’ll have your own May flowers without the April showers!
