There are a gazillion crochet blogs online. Some of them are downright wonderful. The patterns one can find on them is nothing short of amazing! There is so much inspiration.
One problem I have had with blogs in languages other than English is simply understanding what’s there. I just discovered a nifty trick for translation and want to share it. The translations are not perfect as crochet is a specific language itself and lots of crochet terms don’t translate well. But, try this:
Find a blog you want to view and go there.
Copy the web address.
Go to www.google.com and paste the web address into the search box.
When the site appears, click the link NEXT to the web address that says something like this ‘translate this page’.
It just takes a few seconds for the huge old cyberbrain in the ether to give a reasonable facsimile of English from Russian, French, Japanese, Portugese, whatever. Really amazing.
Give it a try!

would you think of sharing some of your favorite foriegn language blogs. The few I have found have crochet patterns with charts so the language is not the great barrier.
and yes I do like the google translator
OKAY, READERS. PLEASE ADD YOUR FAVORTE FOREIGN LANGUAGE BLOG LINKS HERE!
Thanks in advance,

KIM,
Click on the RSS link to go to the site, copy the web address, go to google, paste the web address in the google search box, when it comes up, click on the ‘translate this site’. That should work!
