We all know about those cute little amigurumi animals. But, what about larger softies for kids to love on? The folks over at Martingale have come up with some newer, larger amigurumi type patterns, and they’re giving away a free downloadable pattern for this loveable whale.
This will be a hit with kids of all ages (and a lot of older ‘kids’), but I’d replace the button eyes with stitched eyes if I planned to make it for anyone under six years of age. In general, I think smaller, younger kids will prefer this size softie. The smaller ones are so cute, but this whale is designed to be loved on a lot by all who see him, don’t you think?
