Are you a fan of Brett Bara?  Have you seen her as the host of Knit and Crochet Now! on TV?  I love that show!  Now, she’s gathered 25 quick projects into one book for all of us to have on our bookshelves.  As I thumbed through this book, I fell in love with a few things right away.  First is the Chunky Flower Brooch, definitely a statement piece!  The Entwined Ear Warmer is stunning.  Who knew that something as mundane as a headband could be turned into a dazzling fashion accessory with a simple design element?

Most of the projects in this book fall into the easy or early intermediate skill range, but more experienced crocheters will find goodies here too.  There are socks, caps, scarves, mittens, several purses, and more. There’s even a cap that your guy will actually wear!  And, unlike many books which mislead that their projects can be made in a weekend, most of these truly could be crocheted in a single weekend.

The quality and presentation of the patterns in this book are what we have come to expect from Interweave Press.  In one book, you’ll find patterns from Doris Chan, Kristin Omdahl, Robyn Chachula, Drew Emborsky, Vicki Howell and others.  This book would be a great gift for yourself or for any crocheter in your life!
