Crochet Along – Mystery Scarf

April 23, by Shellie Wilson. 2 Comments

unnamed

There’s still time to join in the Mystery Scarf Blog Hop Crochet-a-Long as part of the Design Improv Workshop 2! Pia Thadani from Stitches’N’Scraps has organized this blog hop of 10 crochet designers. This fun and free mystery CAL started April 1, and a new section is being released every 2 days on a different designer’s blog.

Each row will be 40 stitches wide, and that is the only rule. The designers haven’t specified a gauge, yarn weight, hook, color(s), or number of pattern repeats. This means that you get to add your twist to the design, too! Will you make it thick, bulky, and warm for next winter? Or will you make it light and airy for warmer weather? Will you change colors or do it all in one color?  Long or short? We can’t wait to see all the different results!

There are lots of ways to join in, share pictures, and chat about your progress. Use hashtag #DIW2 for all social media as you share your progress on Instagram, your blog, Pinterest, Tweet, Facebook, Ravelry, G+, or all of the above!

Get started today by following the schedule below, and by joining this Ravelry group,  this Google+ Community, or this group Pinterest board.
