Is this the biggest ‘Sock Monkey’ you’ve ever seen??  I have always thought the Sock Monkey was one of the cutest stuffed animals – back when I only knew about the ‘real’ sewn ones made from actual socks.  Since I’ve been crocheting, I’ve seen many patterns that reuse this theme – caps, backpacks, afghans – and now this cool Messenger Bag.  I think this would make a very nice diaper bag and could be part of a whole themed baby shower, making use of all the aforementioned items and more besides.  You can get CraftFoxes free pattern for this one right here.

  1. They are ALL Sooooo Adorable! I Re-e-eally haven’t seen the Sock Monkey popularity here lately as I did a few years ago… Back then I made a Bottle Cozy with a Strap. I 4get the name of the yarn that I used except that I stumbled onto it. It made a Wonderful Monkey Brown color! Thank YOU again!
