Cute Crochet For Girls

February 5, 2012 by jd wolfe

Cute Crochet For Girls by Lisa Naskrent is one of the latest offerings of Annie’s Attic Crochet.  These 8 designs are adorable, sure to please the girls and their moms.

Included in this collection for sizes 2T to 6 years are two dresses, a top and an apron, a hat, kerchief, and tote with the apron, and a cute matching apron to fit an 18 inch doll.  What little girl won’t be thrilled with that?

One thing I like about the dress designs in this book is that they are simple enough to have wide appeal and easily crocheted yet will look perfect on almost any little girl.  These dresses are easy to lengthen since girls in this age group tend to grow up more than out.  Later, the dresses will make pretty tunics.

Another trick that works with dresses like these is to simply continue to add lenght to the straps or extra rows of hem edging as your little one grows.  The apron will be popular with mom’s Little Helper, too.  Popped over a swim suit and the addition of the matching tote and kerchief, you’ll be ready for the beach or pool.  Too cute!

    I really love these.
People put alot of time into creating beautiful things for kids, I wish they came in more adult sizes!
That little tank top in the back? I would love one! 🙂
