More cute crochet trees for you. These things just keep coming my way and I love to share them with my readers. Again, these work up so quickly that there’s no excuse for not making a bundle of them. Since I favor multicolored yarns, I’d love to see this worked in shaded greens or green ombres. Hmmmm. Wonder what I have on hand.
Also, since you know how I love to embellish, this would be easy to add a few teeny seed beads to make them sparkle. Also, if you’re not familiar with very fine glitter, now would be the time to learn about it. A light misting of spray on glue and a sprinkle of ultra fine glitter and you’d have a magical tree that would charm everyone.
I think the scale of these and some of the other trees I’ve featured might just work for an HO train set. Perfect for under the Christmas tree or any other time in my house.
While you’re visiting ChiWei’s site, check out a couple other things. First, this tutorial for an Invisible Join. Great! Learn that invisible join, but make yourself some cute wreath pins using her simple design. Again, embellish as you like. Use a tiny safety pin to make it a brooch.
And, can there be too many star patterns? I don’t think so. These are simple, clean, and very pretty. Again, these would make pretty brooches or to add to a little girl’s headband. So easy and quick – and adorable!
ChiWei has a bevy of crochet goodies for us on her site. From tutorials to free patterns to amazing inspiration, she’s quite a talent!
