More Crochet Flowers – A Round UP

It has become common knowledge that I love crochet flowers.  So, people send me links to many beauties.  There are not enough hours in the day for me to find all these goodies.  Thanks to all who send them.  Since my readers seem to like them too, I’ll share these little gems with you when I get a group of them.

A pretty Easter Lily.

A sweet daffodil from one of my favorite doily designers, Sheila of Sheila’s Schnauzies.

You can see a bunch of vintage flower designs here.  The photography is not terribly appealing, but the flowers speak for themselves.

cro tiara headband 0714And, finally, this totally adorable – and simple to work up – floral tiara headband is for an infant.  Clearly, using a larger headband and a few more floral motifs would allow one to crochet this for any size head.  I love the look, simple yet sweet and charming.  Your choice of colors, a single color like designer Sonia Maria has used in this photo, multiple colors, or even a variegated or ombre yarn would create a lovely look to match a special outfit.  For an older child or adult, I’d love to see a little bead or crystal in the center of each flower.  Just a little touch that would make the project that much more special and personal.
