Now, lots of people are saying that DIY Crochet masks are unsafe and we are not suggesting they are better than store-bought filtered facemasks BUT, maybe you are in a position where you can’t buy a face mask, can’t find one in your state and now you are legally required to wear one.
Maybe wearing a face mask isn’t something you ever thought about wearing 2 months ago, heck even 2 weeks ago, but here we are. The handmade sewn masks are very popular right now but not everyone can sew.
So I am putting my Crochet skills to good use and making these masks for myself and family until we can purchase medical-grade ones.

This medical face mask one is open weaved but it does have a stitched in cotton filter and the pattern for it is Free and easy to follow.
