Aren’t these pretty slippers? They look like they’d work up quickly. Check it out here. These fall into the carry-along quick pattern category. They would make a nice gift. Picking out pretty buttons could be half the fun!
NOTE: THIS PICTURE IS FOR INSPIRATION AS THE PATTERN IS, REGRETTABLY, NOT YET AVAILABLE. There is no tutorial available at present, although it was posted earlier and disappeared. This typically happens when a pattern has been noticed on the internet and a publisher offers to include it in a book – as happened in this case.
Looking for more slippers to crochet? Check out these Slipper patterns we found on Etsy.
Crochet slippers are the ultimate comfort for your feet, they keep your feet warm and add padding to the underfoot of your sole.
Crochet slippers make wonderful gifts as generally they fit several sizes. Slippers are great for donating to charities, as crochet slippers can be handed out to hospitals, aged care facilities, and displaced children.
Did you know the first recorded history of slippers can be traced all the way back to the 12th century? The Vietnamese had been wearing slippers long before the folks in the West, with its earliest record of a slipper only being traced to 1478.

I clicked on the link and went to the site but I couldn’t find a pattern. That happens a lot to me and it’s getting very frustrating. Where is the pattern?
Jennifer says
I too could not find the pattern. Too bad because they’re super cute. The link just says the pattern is part of a book that hasn’t come out yet.

Thank you all!
I’m really really sorry fot the pattern, but a friend ask me to give it for a book, the profit will go to breast cancer research, so I can’t spread it. It’s for a good cause 🙂
But I’m happy you like them!

The slippers look great. But I’m writing to comment on that wonderful tattoo. That is the best ankle tattoo that I’ve ever seen and felt that it was totally appropriate, beautifully rendered and simply lovely.

Thank you Sonya 🙂
